Thermoregulating blankets

In collaboration with (OU), Servizi Ospedalieri S.p.A. has created textile products with thermoregulating properties.

Thermoregulating products

The SO.Thermal-Line® thermal blanket, made using Outlast® materials, is intended to cover patients awaiting surgery, patients in intensive care and in other inpatients’ departments and guests in care and nursing homes.

SO.Thermal-Line® thermal blankets keep the patient’s body temperature regulatedat the best possible level, giving a pleasant feeling of well-being.

Technical features of the fabric

  • SO.Thermal-Line® fabrics are made with Outlast® materials that contain a Phase Change Material (PCM) substance that becomes active and regulates heat while it is being used.
  • It absorbs and removes excess humidity, creating a condition that is unfavorable to bacterial proliferation.
  • Its surface is soft and natural in contact with the skin.
  • Its performance is permanent because it resists industrial washing and pilling because the fiber is finished with special products.
  • SO.Thermal-Line® products also have antistatic properties and are Latex-Free.
